Happy Saturday everyone! I cannot believe that it is actually 43 degrees out today. We in the East Coast here had a huge amount of rain here yesterday and some of last night. Better then snow I say! Although, I do love the snow - I am getting quite tired of it because we have had quite an amount. I did not sleep well at all last night. I am draggin my butt today it seems. Forsome reason, I was up coughing all last night. I had like tickle in my throat. My Albuterol (inhaler) was downstairs here and I was just too damn tired to get up, come downstairs and get it! I am sooo lazy when am in bed…;)

So, finally - around 4 am I could not take it anymore. I got up and (instead of getting my inhaler!) and took a Claritin. Finally - after about 25 minutes the tickle stopped and I was able to get some sleep.

I was hoping that today would be the day my daughter and I go get our new phones. I mentioned these phones way back in November I think it was…

This is the Blackjack 2. I have had my eye on this puppy since it first came out! I am able to upgrade my phones - but ya know…It’s a lil thing called money that is preventing me from upgrading! There is so much you can do with this phone that my old one cannot! The best being - I can read my RSS feeds in it. It has 2.0 m camera/video. And it runs off Windows Mobile 6. Querty keyboard, GPS and 3G are also thrown in for fun! I could list all it does here, but click on the link to go read for yourselves!

The unfortunate thing, is that my federal check has not been deposited into my bank yet. This makes me very sad. I was hoping to have a new phone to play with for my birthday tomorrow.

My state was already deposited, but not the federal one. That sucks because usually I get my federal before my birthday. so, I guess I just gotta wait some more. I am so excited about getting this phone! I am such a geek sometimes.

So I decided this morning to give my magick categories the boot. I had my own magick site before and I closed it up and transferred all my files here. But honestly, I just don’t update it as much as I do this one. So it seemed kinda silly to have it here. I will just redo it at some point and then reopen my place to the blogging world at another time. I can always link it from here I suppose.

The only thing that kinda sucks is I am able to teach magick, but I have never perused it. Sometimes I feel as though I am wasting my courses that I took 8 years ago. I really studied hard for over a year and I always wanted to teach, just never had the motivation to go and do it I suppose. Had the motivation to learn - but to actually get the group together and all that was a different story.

Who knows, maybe sometime I can get some online courses going.

So, yesterday I got a nice little sorta unexpected check in the mail. I canceled one of my life insurance policies last week because actually, I had two. One was offered from my work for free (that one I kept) and the other I was paying weekly. I did not see a reason to keep the second one going so I canceled. well, yesterday I got a nice $339.00 in the mail.

Money never comes to me…lol. So I thought it was a very nice treat! I might go get my haircut this weekend and then try to get some of my cable paid off. My cable bill is $600.00 bucks, but I am on a “payment plan” so I don’t get shut down.

OMG…you don’t want to see me - without internet… It is so not a pretty sight. I am like a crack addict without my internet. I get withdrawals and everything.

So my daughter and I (if she gets home somewhat early) will go and cash the check and maybe hit the mall. I told her I would take her and her bf out to dinner if they wanted.

My W2’s will be mailed out on Monday. (according to cooperate) This is most excellent news! That means I will be doing my taxes and have my money by my birthday! Then I will be paying off my cable completely and some other bigger bills too.

Then maybe, just maybe - I won’t be so stressed out all the time.
