So here we are, yet again with another fitness challenge entry. This week is a lot better then last weeks entry, I am actually reporting some great changes!
Despite the fact that I am still 135lbs, I actually managed to lose an inch on my waist. My waist was measuring in at an inch smaller. (36 inches)
My arms, and thighs stayed the same, Bust too- that stayed the same! (thank Goddess)
I have great legs when it comes to muscle and all. 21 and 22 inches are my thighs.
Sometimes at work - I am on my feet walking from 8am until I leave at 4pm! So my legs are not big on my priority list. My arms - I would like them to look well defined. They both are 11 inches.
And I would kill for a decent set of abs.
Actually, beneath the layer of fat - I have nice hard abs. They just can’t be seen because the fat layer on my belly is thick. Not good. That has put my at risk for heart disease. My mom was the same way though, so I guess the shape runs in the family.
Think of a troll belly. It is round and puffy. That’s what my stomach started to look like over the years. But the rest of my body is decent. Good butt, thighs and decent arms. (actually - if I can brag here, my butt really looks great in a pair of jeans!)
Finally though, my abs are shaping up from all the strength training I have been doing. I can really feel the abs today I tell ya!
I was actually scared to measure myself tonight. I have not lost in body weight it seems, but I thought I would give measuring a try so I could actually see if there were changes. Afterall, it’s been like a month that I have not measured. I think if I didn’t see any changes - I might have had to rethink this whole diet thing again.
Thankfully, there were small changes to give me the oomph I needed.
And you know what else? I am now an affiliate of Oxygen fit. They are only the BEST exercise and fitness people around.
If it wasn’t for them - and me reading my first issue of Robert Kennedy’s - Oxygen Magazine I would have never lost weight. Or even knew what different weights were, or the difference between a quad and a bicep. This magazine, by far is the best magazine for women who want to eat right and strength train. I honestly have learned a ton from them. Ladies - if you would like to learn about strength training and weight loss. I highly recommend this magazine. I have been a subscriber for over a year now and just extended my subscription for another year!
