So I decided this morning to give my magick categories the boot. I had my own magick site before and I closed it up and transferred all my files here. But honestly, I just don’t update it as much as I do this one. So it seemed kinda silly to have it here. I will just redo it at some point and then reopen my place to the blogging world at another time. I can always link it from here I suppose.

The only thing that kinda sucks is I am able to teach magick, but I have never perused it. Sometimes I feel as though I am wasting my courses that I took 8 years ago. I really studied hard for over a year and I always wanted to teach, just never had the motivation to go and do it I suppose. Had the motivation to learn - but to actually get the group together and all that was a different story.

Who knows, maybe sometime I can get some online courses going.

So, yesterday I got a nice little sorta unexpected check in the mail. I canceled one of my life insurance policies last week because actually, I had two. One was offered from my work for free (that one I kept) and the other I was paying weekly. I did not see a reason to keep the second one going so I canceled. well, yesterday I got a nice $339.00 in the mail.

Money never comes to me…lol. So I thought it was a very nice treat! I might go get my haircut this weekend and then try to get some of my cable paid off. My cable bill is $600.00 bucks, but I am on a “payment plan” so I don’t get shut down.

OMG…you don’t want to see me - without internet… It is so not a pretty sight. I am like a crack addict without my internet. I get withdrawals and everything.

So my daughter and I (if she gets home somewhat early) will go and cash the check and maybe hit the mall. I told her I would take her and her bf out to dinner if they wanted.

My W2’s will be mailed out on Monday. (according to cooperate) This is most excellent news! That means I will be doing my taxes and have my money by my birthday! Then I will be paying off my cable completely and some other bigger bills too.

Then maybe, just maybe - I won’t be so stressed out all the time.

Wow. This week has flown by. And, what a week it has been.
It all started on Tuesday, when I woke up to no cable or internet. I was pissed. The bastards shut me down - for $50.00 bucks. I just about died! When I spoke to the cable woman the day before Thanksgiving, she told me, “I was all set…” I had just paid $200.00 on that day.

Tuesday was a different story. I could not pay the $50 cause my check had not appeared in my bank yet. (I was waiting for a deposit) So that night we were without Tv or internet. I was so mad! I missed all my favorite shows. Boston Legal, NCIS and The Unit…

I called my bank and they said to check back on Wednesday…

So Wednesday morning I called my bank and did the automated phone thingy - SCORE! it was there!!

Before I left for work, I called cable and paid the $50 bucks (again - automated) and no shit - 2 minutes later my cable was back on. Internet too.

I was happy girl once again.

So Wednesday, I decided to finally do a complete reinstall of my Windows XP. I saved all the stuff I needed and moved them to my other hard drive and after I came home from work I redid the whole thing.

It takes nothing to redo Windows (usually) but …I did not get a 100% clean install, so I redid it again…

Then it was working fine. Was a bit sketchy though.

So yesterday, I put in the wrong ATI driver - so I had to uninstall/reinstall it again. This totally screwed my installation up, so I had to do it AGAIN!

This was fine, but in the process - I wiped clean a file I needed. The password file of all files. So I could not log into my site here cause I forgot my password.

Sent for my password 6 times! But my email addy kept getting blocked for spam! I was not aware of this until I logged into my account (finally) and checked the email server.

Then I shot a letter off to my internet provider. I do not know why I am getting tagged as spam. I guess it is my host provider. They have had tags before.

So, because it goes through them - it will be tagged as spam. Needless to say, I am back up and running. So you all will be getting updates once again.
