What a week this has been. In between my sucky web hosting company totally screwing up my site here - and the fact that the holidays will be looming soon.. I don’t know what is worse! lol.

I asked my hosting company to please remove an OLD domain name from my account that use to be active - but I no longer own it. They said, “fine not a problem.”

I should have known. Remember what happened last time…with my site being shut down for 6 bucks?

In a nutshell - they totally fucked up my site. I was pissed - to say the least. Because I put an “index” file up to my site - the one you guys saw when you clicked on my site - they said my site was “working properly!”

I kept trying to explain to them - “Look you fucking idiots- I put that file there because when you went to my site you could SEE ALL MY ROOT FILES.”

::insert blank stares and the sound of crickets here::

It wasn’t until I tld them that I a making a complaint with the BBB and also wanted the name of their manager - did they actually get off their asses and fix it!

Basically they kept telling me all was well- and then they would tell me to “move this file and that file”

Which was ALREADY there. I was like - WTF? It IS in that location. Why are you telling me to move it??

So - after freaking yesterday because my links were not clickable - I finally figured it out (I hope) and for now I am back. The good Goddess only knows for how long though. My site is still behaving a bit odd. Since they actually deleted some files I had to re install parts of Wordpress again…

Here I was thinking I will “give them another chance.” And this is the shit I get.  I contacted a few different companies, and so far I am getting soe good prices. But the ONE thing that will sway me is awesome technical support.

I am still looking…so if anyone knows of a great company let me know!
