Sarah Palin knows the Constitution
I came across this at “Blogs for John McCain.” And I thought it might be worth re posting.
With only a little bit of time left to the election - I urge everyone to go and read BOTH sites and decide who you want for president. Please, go there and read about each of them and THEN make your decision. If you have the time to read a bunch of blogs in your RSS feeds, then I’m sure you have enough time to read about who will be RUNNING OUR COUNTRY!
I am not trying to change anybody’s mind on this - I just want people to be informed. You can go and vote for who you want.
Remember though, there is no room for “mistakes.”
I want to feel safe in my own country - and I am voting in who I believe in because I do not care about “Making History.” Like so many of the networks want us to.
I agree with Blogs for John McCain - Chris Matthews IS an idiot. He would not even give Nancy Pfotenhauer a chance to speak - but attacked her from the get go. As my boyfriend says, “Just because you talk louder- it doen’t make you right!”
And that is just what that Chris Mathews was doing…
If you only keep an eye open and actually listen to how much the Networks are truly one sided. Please tell me what happened to the days of FAIR reporting. It’s all about money with the networks.
Just think of how all the floods and tragedy you see on the news. Why don’t they ever report good things? That’s easy - It does not make money. Tragedy does. These networks want to be a part of history, and that is why they are so one sided. If Hillary was up against McCain - She would be favored. It’s just the way it is.
History makes money.
I remember when I was a little kid I asked my mother (who was NEVER helpful) “What is the difference between “Democrats and Republicans.” And her answer was - “Democrats are for the poor people and Republicans are for the rich.”
So all those years ago when I registered to vote - Keeping that STUPID piece of knowledge in mind, I picked Democrat - because I was poor. (And still am BTW.)
EVEN THOUGH I always felt I was more republican and agreed with that side more I went with (D) because I thought I had to.
Today I no longer feel that way. And yes, I crossed over and did something not many will do…
I voted for who was better - not for the letter at the end of their name.
I am not a Constitution expert, but here is a link to view the Constitution. Turns out Sarah Palin is RIGHT. And Chris Mathews does not know his Constitution!

And remember that nurse I told you about? The one that pretty much cemented my vote? This woman constantly says to people - “See her…she is a Republican.” as a way of trying to shame me into voting for Obama! She even told me the other day, “It’s not too late to change your vote…”
I wanted to leap over the desk at her! But I kept my cool- looked at her smugly and said, “yes it is…I already voted.”
Finally….She shut up & had nothing to say…

You and Palin are wrong. She is completely wrong and Matthews is correct. Everyone knows she was wrong so I don’t see why you are defending her. Thank you for the tape becuase it was great. I think I am going to watch his show. Where in the constitution does is say the VP makes policy? It is strictly forbidden. The VP has no say during discuss either. The VP presides over the Senate, enforces Roberts’ Rules of Order, that is it. IF she behaved in the Senate like she thinks she should, they would chew her up and spit her out.
Hi Tom, Thanks for your comment. I am not sure if you noticed the link, but I did link to where you can go and read the constitution. here it is again - listed under historical documents. and although I use that reference in my blog title - I am actually talking about Chris Mathews and how he does not (or did not) let Nancy even get a word in edgewise. Every time she tried to talk - he would raise his voice and talk over her. That was the actual reason for posting it.
And also if you wish - you can go to “Blogs for John McCain” - where he explains where in the document it actually is.

In response to the above comment by nothingness. Way to prove the saying “it is better to keep one’s mouth shut and be thought an idiot, instead of opening it and removing all doubt!” While a VP does not make policy in the senate. A VP can sure do a lot of work behind the scenes helping the president get his/her agendas enacted. Way to bring low brow comments into a serious discussion, you tool ! And if you have never heard of Chris Mathews you have no right to speak on any political issue. Now please go back to getting stoned at your dorm and leave serious issues to adults.
Nobama, Thanks for your comment. I think he just didn’t read the whole post enough to realize that I was trying to point out that Chris Mathews is an idiot. He was trying to be Mr. “Big Man” and make Nancy look stupid - when he was actually looking like an ass.
So does this mean you are Pro-McCain/Palin?

Why I support McCain & Palin
Whilst not having a vote and liking what I’ve seen of Obama more than what I’ve seen on McCain I just couldn’t bring myself to vote for anyone that had Palin on their ticket. Her comments about fruit flys when being interviewed about science funding was the icing on the cake for me.

Bob, lol… While I did not see the piece that you are referring to - I gotta say, not everyone is perfect - nor do they “know it all.” So if they have small errors here and there (with regards to “fruit flies”) then that is ok with me.
And while I remember…
How have you managed to vote already? I’ve been trying to get my head around all the different ways of voting in the different states and I’ve still to be able to sit back and say, “I think I understand now.”
