Fries and seizures…What a combo!
Midweek update…
Yup…..you are reading right. I am updating. Not really anything to update on though. I got bits and pieces, but that’s about it. Right now, I am sitting at the computer not moving my neck and sitting here with a heat pack on it.
It’s killing me. Must be a muscle. I hope anyways. Was thinking a pinched nerve because my skin is numb in a certain spot at the back of my neck, left side of my spine - at the top. But an inflamed muscle will do that too because it would be pushing on it. Whatever it is, it hurts! I didn’t even sleep with any pillows last night, thinking that would help!
I guess it did a small bit…Not much though. One of the girls at work said it might be my traps. And she showed me a few stretching exercises to do. That helped a bit.
EEG Day…
Took work off yesterday. Had to take my daughter to the hospital for a (scheduled) EEG. She has been having a few *strange* episodes at school/work so her Neurologist ordered the testing. It’s a pretty standard test, so I can almost guarantee everything will check out fine.
I use to have seizures when I was a teen. I basically walked around in a fog and noises would slow down…Not sure if they were Petit Mal or Simple Partial Seizures. But they were classified as a seizure.
My mother had those big ones…Grand Mal.. So it is *somewhat* hereditary it seems..
I still get nervous though if I walk into a room where there is fluorescent lighting. When they are about to burn out - my brain picks up the flickering and I can get really sick and will pass out!
We go back to the Neurologist next Friday, so we will see what’s going on then. I will have to leave work early though. That sucks. Oh well though…Waddya gonna do right?
Google Searches…
Apparently, someone out there does not know how to bookmark or add an RSS feed to their Google reader…lol.
My biggest search term all the time is : Google Search: Simple Mindz.
No shit. Wonder who that could be? Maybe I should write a post on how to add bookmarks to the computer…lol. Or adding RSS feeds to a reader! That’s annoying. And it’s not just daily…It’s like 8-12 times a DAY!
A great artist…
See that picture up there? Well, that’s my daughter art project! It is a clay sculpture of "Fries on a plate." Complete with ketchup. lol. I really thought it came out awesome! I love her artwork. She thinks I"m crazy……

Work crap…
Yeah, work is a changing. This morning, my boss asked me to enter a few time sheets on the computer from yesterday. No problem. I didn’t actually get to them till about 8:30 though.
The only problem was - Some of the "residents" we have we not logged to the rehab system. And this was ALL new to me. Luckily, the girl that trained me a few weeks ago, was at my work, helping out with cleaning out old files. So she was able to show me what I was to do when I had that problem.
That went well, until I realized that ONE of the time cards I entered - was for today’s date…! So I had to delete all the entries I made and re add them to yesterdays time sheet.
Then I had to hunt down two of the therapists to ask them what medical codes were they using for that particular time! What should have taken 25-30 minutes for me (I am new at it) actually took over an hour to get done! I was ticked. And I actually had to tell the therapists that I was not able to help them at the time. This made me feel awful. But I had to get my own work done too!
I got a feeling that I am going to be helping the therapists less and less and am gonna have more of the paperwork pushed on me.
Yuck.
