Some cool new plugins to play with.
I wanted to let you all know about a couple of cool plug ins that I found at Wordpress.org. The first one, and actually my favorite one because it appeals to my ever increasing geeky side, is a plug in called, " SMS Text Message.
Basically, in a nutshell, you can add your number to the little widget thingy over there —————————> and whenever I update my blog, you can be notified. At least, that’s my understanding of it anyways.
I am currently testing it out with my own number - So I will let you know how well it works. I sent myself a text - but have not received it yet…so I will let you all know!
The second plug in that I found was Wordpress Mobile edition.
This basically converts your blog in an easy to read mobile edition for your PDA or Smartphone. It’s pretty cool. I tried to take a picture of it so you can see how good it looks on my phone, but I was not having too much luck at all.
Here is one though. Although, blurry…I think you can get the jist of it.
Anyways, So far these are pretty cool plugins. try em out & see for yourself. I thought they were pretty cool.

Jay, I have a good amount…but not a “ton.” I am constantly adding and removing them from my blog..Always like to try new stuff out..

hey frd .. which plugin are u using for .. replying commentators on ur topics ..like u replied to above ppl and ur reply is in dark .. i wud too like to use this on one of my blog

Puneet, there is no plugin. I reply personally to all of them. And when I want to make the replies dark, I use “bold” font.. [b] [/b] to do so. But, use these <> to enclose them, not this [ ].. It helps people to see that I have replied to them… I think anyways.

Nintendo DS, Do what manually? Reply to readers? I never get tired of interacting with my readers. I love em. They are the reason my blog is PR 2 now. They are the reason why my Alexa is 158,941! Heehee…I wuv these guys and also replying to them!

Hey, thanks for this interesting post. Do you plan on writing any more like it? Perhaps in a series of WP plugin reviews?
