Red Sox and South Beach?
Seriously, I don’t know how much I can write here - The Red Rox are stressing me out right now…lol.It’s the 6th inning and the Yankees are leading 2 - 1.
Wanted to post about a few things this weekend. The first one being the new Social Spark site. Am having trouble logging in though. The second was my fitness post. Would like to be on time with that this week.
While chatting with a fellow blogger Dwayne, from Pro-Blogreviews the other night - he was telling me about giving up carbs entirely. Just for two weeks. I remember half trying this before, a long time ago. So, yesterday - I went and found my South Beach Diet” book, dusted it off and started reading it again.

It’s kinda funny - I sorta follow this plan already. Just not as strict. I did awesome today, except for a piece of pizza that I decided to grab…lol.
For breakfast I had my coffee and an egg. And for lunch I cooked up a tiny piece of steak, wrapped it in a lettuce leaf added a smidge of mayo ( I am product testing the mayo) and some cheese. It was delish!
(yes! Sox just scored 2)
So, I think I will do ok on the *diet* since it’s just for two weeks.
My ankle is starting to feel a tad better now, so I am hoping to get back on the treadmill tomorrow.
Did I mention to you guys my ankle? No? Well, I got my new running shoes, put them on and hopped on my treadmill.
I am a FREAKIN idiot. lol. I did it again the next day too. So, for three days now my ankle has been really hurting.
I wore my new sneaks to work on Thursday, so I could break them in. Something I should have done in the first place! And today, it is finally feeling better.
Have still be doing my strength training so that’s a plus. My arms are looking good. (IMHO)
Has been a super busy week at work. So what else is new right? Can you believe - I read all my RSS feeds this morning and it took me 4 hours!
Honest! I could not believe how much reading I did this morn. I also deleted a lot of the blogs that no longer hold my interest. Had about 15 of those.
So, now my daughter and I are going to move a small rug and put it under the dining room table….lol.
Will write more later peeps!

And I hear mixed reviews on the south beach diet, never tried it personally so I wouldn’t know! But good luck… though I think you need to stop eating pizza if you’re gonna do it! LOL!

Jay, well, not so much a die hard fan. But I do like to watch and listen to them play. If I miss one though, it won’t be the end of the world. I got 5 bucks on em this time though! I have always kinda lived the south beach way, but just not as strict. lol.
You seem to be a big coffee drinker (me to) what is your brand of choice? Also steak wrapped in a lettuce leaf = mmmm. What kind of steak? Sirloin, fillet mignon or london broil? How about if you combined your breakfast and lunch at lets say 11am and put that egg on the steak! or would that defeat the purpose?

Mark, Maxwell house is the way to go! Now though, I am trying and really enjoying their “light” ground. Yes, steak in a leaf. lol. It was a small piece, bout an ounce or so. And sliced very thin. I don’t remember what cut it was though. My ex bf actually bought it a while ago, and turned it into small individual pieces.
Steak and eggs sounds awesome right now! But I could never eat brunch - I have erosions in my tummy and I cannot let my stomach get empty!
