Fitness Challenge - week 2
My fitness update # 2
Okie dokie kids, time to talk about fitness! Remember my fitness challenge I have been working on? I wrote about it here...
Now, it’s the second week into it. I am at 133 lbs now. I guess I stabilized my weight now as the *norm* to start at. (Remember - I was 135 and lost 3lbs last week?)
Went on my treadmill 25 minutes this time, 5 days last week. I got super lazy strength training though. I think it is because I tend to walk a TON at work, I get really lazy after I come home, walk the treadmill and then when it comes time to do my weights, I am just too pooped. And then I need to hop on the computer, cook supper and all that.
I was able to run a small amount while I was on my treadmill. My ankle bothered me a bit after, but it was OK. I am happy though that I was actually able to run again.
Am super afraid of hurting my knee. I just cannot tolerate another injury. I have not been as diligent in logging my calories this week, that is not good. I am keeping a running tally in my head though, but still…it needs to be on paper. Or at least - Internet paper. lol.
Am having a bit of trouble making sure I get 8 glasses of water a day though. I really don’t know why. I have never had a problem before - after I got use to it. It’s harder I think when you fall off track.
I still have 3 months to go to reach my goal. Will I make it kids? I don’t know - you all are just gonna have to subscribe to keep up to date!
If I do make it - I will post a picture of myself here. So then you all can see my lean, toned muscles! lol.

I had the same problem with making sure I was drinking enough so I got a HydroCoach water bottle. It lets you know how much you need to drink to keep hydrated, keeps a track of how much you have had to drink and gives you reminders to keep you on track to drink the required amount in 24 hours.

SD, Thanks! I will go check out the site. I know I am supposed to drink about 8 glasses a day - it’s just doing it is sometimes hard!

Water is the key. Besides regular exercise, drinking water will make you reach your goal quicker. I keep water on my desk all day. So every minute of the day I see cold water. Keep up the good work.

Eathan, I try to drink 6-8 bottles of water a day. I do good on the weekdays, but I never am able to do it on the weekends. I don’t know why. It’s just a lot harder for some reason!
