What the heck. She has TMJ!
Long day today. Was really busy at work. Some days I run around the entire day going crazy!
Yesterday was just as busy, but I had to leave at 2pm. My daughter had to go to the oral surgeon. She has wisdom teeth, that he will have to remove in a year or so - and he really thinks that she has developed TMJ. He gave her a script for 800mg of Ibuprofen every 8 hours. He wants her to take it for the anti inflammatory properties. It is bugging her tummy though (as that stuff usually does) so I will call him if she still gets a tummy ache tomorrow.
Poor girl, she is just getting hit with so much shit this year.
Don’t know if the TMJ is caused by grinding - which we do not think she does. Or jaw clenching. I would say the clenching would be the one. I catch myself doing the same thing.
Anyway, she has to keep a log book and apply moist heat, and all that. Then he wants to see her in a month.
Well, I am outties for now. It’s Tuesday! My favorite shows are on tonight! (Boston Legal, The Unit and NCIS)
